A clean ingredient, low calorie sweet treat
I'm always on the hunt for something that satisfies my sweet tooth but it's really hard to find healthy recipes that also are macro friendly. The original recipe for these snickers cups are only 145 calories a piece but you can modify the recipe to cut some more calories out.
Lower Calorie Ingredient Swaps
Swap milk for almond milk. A cup of reduced fat milk is approx. 130 calories whilst a cup of almond milk is approx. 30 calories
Swap peanut butter for pb2 - just make sure to mix it with a little water but be careful not to make it too watery because you want the sticky binding consistency. Personally, I prefer to use the regular peanut butter
Remove the extra peanuts on top if you're looking to shed off a few calories
